Prior to co-founding Core Point, Rocky served as the Managing Director of ING Barings' Turnaround Advisory Group which provided advisory services and investments to distressed companies. Rocky is the CEO of the Alliance Precision Plastics Corporation. Rocky's experience includes restructuring numerous companies, primarily manufacturing and processing concerns, as well as a foreign brokerage and banking group. Rocky earned his BS in Business Administration from East Carolina University and his MBA from the University of Southern California.

Dixon, also a co-founder of Core Point, is an investor in numerous companies in various industries where he serves as either principal, advisor or board member. He is the former Chairman of Carolina Pottery, a concept and company he co-founded in 1983, later sold, and in 2001, repurchased through the U.S. Bankruptcy Court at a Section 363 auction sale.
Dixon is currently a partner at Casto, a two billion dollar privately held real estate development firm with offices in Charlotte. Dixon founded Factory Stores of America, a NYSE traded REIT, and served as its CEO until 1997. Dixon was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 1995 by Inc. Magazine and Ernst & Young. He received his BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina.

Deby has recently joined Core Point's consulting practice, and has been an investor in earlier Core Point acquisitions. She was the founder of Cumberland Capital Co., a turnaround consulting firm, working on many Core Point investments. With the merging of her consulting practice into Core Point, Deby brings more than 30 years of finance and operations experience to the group. She is a former Vice President of Heller Financial, Security Pacific Business Credit and First National Bank of Chicago. Deby currently is Vice Chair of Wheaton College where she earned a BA, prior to obtaining a MBA from Boston University.

Bernadette M. Barron, Partner BBarron@corepointpartners.com
Bernadette is a hands-on professional with turnaround, interim management, operational, legal, tax and financial expertise. She has more than 30 years of senior managerial experience with assignments in over 40 industries. In addition to successfully guiding companies through a financial turnaround, she has taken companies through bankruptcy, liquidated corporate assets, negotiated equity and debt structures, and has been actively involved in the acquisition and divestiture of corporate assets and companies.
Prior to joining Core Point Partners, Bernadette served as a consultant for several nationally known financial advisor firms. In addition to being a Certified Turnaround Professional, Bernadette has a LLM (Masters in Law) from New York University, JD from John Marshall Law School, MBA from DePaul University and a Bachelor's in Accounting from Wayne State University. She also is an Illinois CPA and licensed Illinois attorney. Ms. Barron is active on several boards and committees, including several not-for-profits. She is actively involved with the Turnaround Management Association, International Women in Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
